DDR Tourny annoused & China Yunnan Guests

Early this morning, I went to the airport with Francis (my colleague) to pick up 3 guests from China Yunan.
Picked them and got on the cab to the zoo. I got on the cab with Mr. Xiao Lin, he is one of the senior staff working in the Bai Ma Shan Golden monkey conservation project. He is of Tibetian origin, and can speak cool Tibetianese (if that is what is called).
Left them in their quarters and went home...
I talked to Grettie again... curse my itchy backside -_-... NEVER TURN BACK AGAIN!!!!

Been having thoughts of DK on me mind recently... of course a small amt of time, still got sch work and such to consider. Hmmm I am assigned to research on macrophages and cytokines.
Have to submit all these to Sharon tomorrow evening, with yesterday's meeting minutes. (Oh yah, speaking of which, have to change the first minutes to confusious wing from charles wing).

My thoughts right now, very frightened of what can be in stored for me... oh well. Just have to mug each and everyday thru.

On another notes, seems there is interest in Zone X to hold a small DDR tourney, good luck to all that joins.

Time to switch to a new blog

Hi peeps,

I been having problems customising the look on LJ rite now.
Been a bit pissed seeing that everyone having such nice blog sites cept for me.
Notably Ray -_-.

Anyway, I am setting up my new blog at blogger, and once I am happy with the appearances, I will set an official notification for people for a site warming party :p
In the meantime, will migrate all old post there too.

Currently I have 3 blogs, one is for the beatmania IIDX scores set up by friends from VJarmy forums (wordpress), one LJ and one blogger, dunno which has more "html idiot proof" customisations.
Lol... will update more soon.

Tonite lessons again + workshop, hope it ends early so we can go off.


My update:

This morning I have started going work v.early and running in the zoo.
Went around the Australian outback, then to the children's world and back to the office. Think distance is around 1.6Km. (or less)
I cleared this distance in 15mins, with sometime taken for sightseeing and photo taking of zebras and saying hi to people. lol... (more pref. resting).
Will post the pic in later, forgotten to bring lap top charger, need the lappy for tonite's lecture.

Hate being fat...

Its not about DDR, its about NS commitments. Argh... still 0 chin ups. Need to loose 20 Kg before hitting the 1 chinup mark.
Long way to go... But Not gonna give up...
No more Ben & Jerry's for me. Too fatty.
The compulsory softdrinks I have everyday, gota go...

The money will be better spent in the arcade. More DDR for me...

Lets set myself a goal then...

To loose 20 Kg at a rate of 2 Kg/ month.
My exercise regime will include running during lunch time
Gym every one/ twice a week
DDRing once / twice a week.
So its like 7 days exercise... OMG...

I guess with this schedule in place. My official sleep time will push back an hour.

Healthy lifestyle goals:
Lose 20Kg (time frame - 1 yr)
Quit smoking (time frame - 1 yr)--> to ex liow la...
Quit softdrinks (easiest lol) --> dun waste money so sugar water lol.
Exercise least 3 times a week allocated one hour each session. (mild --> heavy intensity)
Bring BP much lower...

As posted in my IIDX blog - The proposal was written and sent, Brian Wong from Zone X has replied to me. The top management seems interested. I guess esp after I explained the differences between the old mixes and the features in the new ones. The only barrier now is the costing. Hopefully they can make it work.
Finally after few years of waiting. The light at the end of the tunnel is seen... Hope for a breakthrough into the daylight.

I would like to thank everyone that has participated one way or another.
Thanks to Raymond, Michael, Edeson, Alvin (AAAlvin) and the other Alvin met at the arcade for their input and effort.
Now its my own battle wif Zone X, and I will ensure every beatmania fan I will put in my best effort in all these.

At the same time, Brian proposes that the Bemani club issues is to be concurrent with the Youth club establishment launching in July.
I am planning to see where these things bring both the players and establishment.

Got lessons tonite...

No life...

My life has been particularly boring.
Swarmed with lotsa stuff eg: Lectures, work, work out, gaming ^_^...
Hardly have much time for myself or others sometimes.

In my studies, a lot of materials have to be read. Just finished attending a workshop on GECC recently. Anne (our lecturer) covered a lot of signalling mechanism, particularly JAK and STATs.
4 Janus kinases (JAKs) and 7 Singal transducer and activator of transcription (STATs). Jak 1 - 3 and tyrosine kinase, and the different STATs all belong to a large family of extracellular ligands called cytokines. Basically they stimulate biological responses in virtually all cell types. From the references I have read, more specifically the hematopoietins. These are some of the introduction extracted from Jak-Stat signalling in human disease by Christian Schindler.

These few days been quite eventful, I had complied the proposal to Zone-X and will be vetting before sending it over.
The person that spoke to me was actually product and business manager... not bad ^_^ happy...

School has finally started. I attended my first lesson yesterday and found the lecturer to be good. The focus for this sem will be on cellular communications. Ouch.... I can't even get transcription rite, what more cell comm... lol.
Talked about history of molcell bio, sweet....
Will be covering prokaryotic cell communications tomorrow, hopefully it will be interesting.
Where is the lecturer for our BIOCHEM Specialisation???

Fella Bloggers, It has been so long since I had last updated my journal. There is a lot of matters to address and comment.
Firstly, regarding the DDR machine credit spamming issue, I think there is a need to have a resolution to the problem. Simplest solution, advice your own friends not to do it and enforce it on yourself too. (yes… I AM A SPAMMER…. Bad Chem Bad Chem…), but I did it out of anger anyway lol.
Ray, Ede, Alvin all have their circle of friends, and if they advice this issue to them and explain properly why spamming is bad, hopefully they will understand and follow.
In desperate situation, write up a notice and paste on machine ba -_-
Spamming, no exceptions to whomever, think this will be fair for everyone.

Secondly, I have currently over 117 scores for IIDX, 339 and 174 , I have a good rival, so I am challenging him a lot now. I am not going to post them, but those interested can go here and have a look see look see.

As for my rival… darn, not too sure about his scores though, looks dodgy, but I give him the benefit of doubt and compete with it. Anyway, most importantly is to improve myself and be my own best.
DDR scores getting sucky, as there is no time for practice, machine is always flooded, this week credit count only 4…

Last... today I had an opportunity to talk with DK. Know her name but purposely asked her anyway lol… What a pretty smile. She needed help with scanning a document, so… helped her a bit ba ^_^ Wheeeeeeee…..
Cannot find her on friendsters le… lol, after her attachment, no chance to see her liow.
Oh well, got fate fine, no fate too bad. Just let fate point your direction, I am very happy now anyway.

I had submitted the petition of a IIDX machine to come Singapore. Hopefully those fellas from Zone-X bother to read. Since then haven receive any reply from them.
If not… I have to count on CS versions to be released.

I am going to send the cheque for the sanwas this weekend. Hopefully it will come within 3 – 5 working days. IIDX galore!!!!

There are many solutions from the dagger to a pistol. But these weapons always leave a scar…
There are simpler solutions, though administering these will prove difficult.
1. high sodium concentration (or metal) solution injected into the blood
2. Cyanide – stops the biochemistry of energy production
3. inject bacteria and or viruses into someone, not telling you what strains ^_^
Much more, unable to think now…
One thing is for sure, make sure you cover your tracks well.
Splash the scene with bleach, so that it will denature any hair or follicles found.
If you wanna go rape someone, can’t help you if you leave your semen, using a condom, please bring it home with you.
BURN all clothings and if can, your weapon.

Using all these tips, should leave 80% of evidence gone… PLAN your steps before committing…
