I remembered years ago there was this Jap Series called Love Generation.
A mushy love story type, cannot stand it but I loved the sound track.
I have managed to translate one line... The heart is similar to the crystal apple, once broken, though can mend, will leave imperfection.
Its very windy here tonight... love the smell of the salt in the sea and sands under my feet. Been so long since I like to feel this type of solitude.
Listening to songs from my player and updating my blog... feels like emotion relished all over again in OZ.

It hit us bad when one of friends and relatives is suddenly taken ill for the worse. This happened to my friend Hazel from my school.
She is now in ICU At TTSH, so please people, Pray for her recovery.

My friend is suffering from an unknown virus infection. From her initial symptoms, fever, kidney failure, brain infection, I suspected it is Hanta virus, but this is not common in Singapore and though she had a rat, they are not known resrvoir for Hanta Viruses. Anyway, From those conditions, If anyone know what may be the virus or cause, please let me know as she is in EXTREMELY CRITICAL CONDITION.

I know I am supposed to update IIDX Gold LE Complete, but I feel that her condition is more important. Next time IIDX Fans...

This post is dedicated to China Bashing – I mean the government

I believe that many in the world are unhappy that the Olympic games went to China.
Myself being a Singaporean Chinese feels that the China government does not make an effort to enforce the peace in the Tibet region. By enforcing I mean negiotations with the Dalai Lama, and not stopping riots.

The egoistic China government has hidden so many things from the world. The bird flu incident for example, if not for the lack of information, the situation may be resolved earlier. People from all over the world have potested by halting the olympic torch. They are not sport haters, but in fact freedom fighters. I praise them for taking the valient effort in trying to stop the torch reaching China to commence the games.
The Olympic games does not have any meaning anymore, its just a venue for sportsmen/women to show their muscles. It brings a boom in economy for the host country. It does not have any signifinance. Sports people, I am sorry to bash on your beloved olympics, but so what for honour and glory when others freedom are suppressed?

Don’t go China, you can measure your sausages on your own free time without an international crowd? SPORTMEN ARE NOT LIKE CHINA, they go for the competition and not to gain glory. You can get a job like every other person in this world, and do not need corporate sponsorships like Nike. Don’t go China, Don’t go China and FREE TIBET!!!!

In another eye sore incident, LEAVE TAIWAN ALONE! Why do you want Taiwan on the false basis of reunification. They have established their own government and a culture level much better then yours. You cannot take it and want to reclaim it as your own is it?
Narrow mind Chinese Government.

I know for these statements I will be shot and hanged if I ever landed my feet in China. For people to be informed… So be it.
I love Chinese people, I love Chinese food, I have China Chinese friends, BUT I absolutely hate their government.

Well I have achieved my IIDX goals of 500AAAs, now is currently 521.
401 Normal 96 Hypers and 10+ anothers.
Best of these is probably Himawari hyper. Wheee!!!!

I have been to DBG the other day for IIDX, saw Bryant and Jerry, and 2 pretty chicks, dunno who they are though. Anyway, when I played on the IIDX, the fucking machine is so damn oily. I dunno who did it but I hope they will not go Bishan and ruin the machine there ^_^. Anyway, all my grade averages went down by almost one, AAA becomes AA and AA becomes A... oh yah, failed a 11 song on extra stage.

Think I will post again when I get my Gold Limited COMPLETE Edition ^_^

Lets see now....

Currently I have cleaned my room - slightly...
Threw away 2 speakers from my old hi fi, my old pc (ram, HDD and CD drv removed)and a huge bags of notes from microbiology to biochemistry.

I have packed my clothes away, washed up a bit here and there. Still got more to cover tonight.

Made a big mistake in the qualifying of Bemani Top Rankers. It should be 8 per game instead of 8 per country. Dun flame me, I'm only human :p
But will encourage to join in the spirit of competition unless monetary concerns forbids it.

For IIDX, totally CMI, I really doubt in this country I can be top 8, not to mention in the whole Asia of IIDX champs. My arcade timing also sucks big time lol...
Anyway, I will concentrate on vjarmy instead, haven updated in a long time, wonder if I am still top 100 in there whahahhaa.

This morning lagi shiok, went to take cab to work, some farker in front of me stole my cab, I waved nevermind to the taxi driver, but gave a middle finger to that farking nerd.

Arcade on previous sat... went there supposedly to chiong DDR with John. KNN, have to went off halfway around 5 to do something urgent for work. Sorry John, next time will chiong with ya, give me time to lose my tummy .... Slim 10?? :P
On another note, my DM has slightly improved. From not able to play level 60 + songs before to be able to playing them now. I still have not carried out my NY resolution.

The following:

1. To reach 1k in DM - training rolling and bass...
2. To pass a 12 in IIDX - either break my fingers trying
3. To get back my DDR form - or break a leg
4. To lose weight, set 30kg for the year
5. In line with point 4, to cut down of softdrinks, fast food and sex :P wahah...
6. Healthy lifestyle, quit smoking... -_-

Anyway, Valentine's day is in the air, but its on a freaking thursday. Its ok Rain, I celebrate with you either the weekend before or after.
Guess what, I will cook for you ^_^.

What I really wanna say, from an old man's point of view, love is something you will hardly find in your teens, heck... even mature adults have problems finding it.
if not, why do people have affairs?
In teens its a simpler playing field, you have one, not good, break up, move on. For adults, its much more complicated, esp those married ones.
Instead of losing salt by crying over a done deal relationship, just smile and move on to a happier tomorrow. For those that done the forbidden act, heck la, how many ladies in this age haven lost it?

For my male mates, if the lady haven chosen you, it may not mean ya not right for her, but the time may not be now. Don't be sour, but stay positive and be focused on ur objectives in life. Love will find you in the end in the most unexpected way.
Looking at my beer belly, many of you can guess that this Panda have been struck out in love many times, but as the older old people say, cannot tahan kena burn, don't play wif fire lor :p
I moved on after some rejections, but waited for those worthy ones. Its up to an individual to handle their relationship matters. But the main key aspect is to stay positive.

Sitting down outside the office with a ciggie in hand and a laptop on whereelse?? my lap.
Its been a quiet day, I am currently rushing through 3 meeting minutes as well as starting revision on my MGBD examination coming on the 16th. It has been very busy these few days.

My PS2 has gone bonkers, I will probably be looking at replacing it soon, as well as at the same time, replacing my lap top. Can't fufill my IIDX dream without a working console ya?

I have spoken to her again, with somewhat positive results. Hopefully will lead to a good beginning or something. To be honest, I missed the arcade scene. Playing DDR till u sweat, IIDX till fingers cramped etc.
I like to strive to be the best, but as many said... my time to shine is over. Now to move on to big boys playing field. With this I wannna add that I can return to the arcade scene anytime, but is it worth it?
Anyway, lets see how after the IIDX comp, no word from TKA yet though. Thought they wanna to promote the eamusement system. hmmm....
After exam, I will be probably hanging out at Bishan for IIDX, if not most likely home on the PS2 on distorted. Waiting for the release of Gold though, come on man, I haven passed my 9th Dan yet. CCB!!!!

Over ten days since the beginning of the new year, how I wish I can stick to my resolution. Been stresed out these days because of the stupid exams. Hopefully the stress is worth the result. Stupid Wendy kept saying I will fail. Smack her tight arse... aowwwwwwwww.

Many times I wonder have I chosen the wrong specialisation. The lecturer is not of a good calibre, and it will be a miracle if I can pass. Luck wise, have been doing okay, but will need more gd luck charms to have a better life.

Comparable to the past, I will say that times like this I was living in the frontier age where men slay beast to feed their family. Shucks.

Very random as this is my place to rant and rave about life. Everydaylovelyday is a nice song just to perk me up. 2 bad my ipod can only store 4GB worth now, so I cannot upload all the IIDX albums in. ^_^

Wonder have the conflict between 157 and tim3 been resolved, been a long time since I visited any blogs... Hopefully that our Bemani community can get together strong.
Trying to tie things together with a bunch of egoistic people can be tough sometimes, and esp if they over-emo.

I been growing up with Bemani games since its beginning, hate to see it gone down to the state that its in. Previously its like a group of people just wanting to show each other skills, now its like bengs and lians trying to butt in the scene. Lol...

Merry Christmas to one and all...

Been more then a month since I had last updated, frankly, been too busy to do anything about it.
Work --> lessons --> study --> DDR torney --> study --> work...
never ending cycle for me sigh...

Anyway, not much to complain about it, just that no time for Bemani games thats all, guess it all come to being an adult. You earn your keep, in the same time, you have to fufill certian responsibilities.
Was thinking through somethings, if I haven went OZ, I would not have left her, and will still be with her till now (?). Prob not. I don't like to think too much of the many mistakes I have done in the past.

Anyway, DDR tourney, thanks to Steven and Mich that came help and esp our 2 MCs Velvet and Vickie.

I swear that with my current lifestyle, it will be just a matter of few more years before i see God lol.

Firstly, diet... OMFG... everyday outside food, no chance to eat at home and seldom got people cook for me.

Exercise, with my busy schedule of working and studies, where got time?? (got time for IIDX no time for exercises -_-)

Hiaz~ anyway I got repetitive stress injury, and guess what... from playing too much iidx lol. Now my right hand is locked and very weak.
Went to pia under they sky last night... can AAA, but then my hand became weak after that lol... how to go zuah with the fellas??

Nothing interesting is happening to me these few days. Been playing Romance of 3 kingdoms XI, IIDX, Halo 3 etc...
What i need to do now is really sit down and plan my studies liow.

1. Pathology sub - 19th Dec
2. Practical work RDB, due soon
3. Presentation for MGBD - Christmas day + 1

May not look much, but you break them apart, u can span 2 pages of tasks with these.

Most will probably know, I am off competitvely from DDR and DM... I really got no time for gaming anymore. Even console game also rarely touch now.

First order for this weekend.
(Friday night) - Spruce up my room
(Sat) - arcade for iidx, dm or ddr... then home to study for pathology
(Sunday) - start revision for pathology (clotting, trauma etc...)
(sunday) - begin revision for MGBD
(Sunday) - Do somethiing...

I went over to Bishan last night, and played IIDX and DM V4.
My accomplishment for last night is… (time to ego ego a bit)

Single play 7th Dan pass
Zenieth Extreme – pass with B
Pass a lot more Level 10 songs… except Waxing and Wanding which Jerry can pass but I can’t 
Hard clear my 3rd Level 10 song… forgotten what is it at the moment.
Almost pass (78%) my first 11… 100% mini moo or something on another. Its easy, except the end… from 100% went to 50+… WTH??

Went popular to buy CDs to burn distorted properly… KNN bought DVD+RW… CCB!!!! No use for that on PS2 lor -_-
Need to go over tonite again to buy…
2.60 per disc lor… total cost me around 11 dollars.

Dao’s PE is not here again, me and the guys have been waiting a damn long time lor…
Hopefully Monday will come and on Shin’s ORD date. Then he can zuah IIDX at home.
I am hopeful that he will be the first one to smash KaiDan.
Jerry is also upcoming and inspiring. Some of the songs he can pass I cannot. Damn, he suppressed me!!!! WTF?? Jerry!!!! I passed 7th dan… waiting for you to cross the damn Safari Jungle to clear it too!! Jia you!!!
Not jealous or anything, but I guess I haven been concentrating on IIDX till recently, previously I was just playing for fun for 3 – 5 yrs. I have a long foundation, but lazy to practice.

Wah kaoz, just come back from reservist kena some worm on my tag to disturb me. lol... Oh well, I am more than welcome any Bemani players to play at Lot 1. It doesn't belong to me, it is something created so that Bemani players can play cheaper, learn from each other and most importantly, have fun.
If this l'll worm is being a little sour about people having fun, well... too bad for him. (*brushes of curses from insult shield).

Anyway, I had just bought a old generation ipod nano at a cheap cheap rate of $138 ^_^ refurbished. My old 4G ipod has gone to heaven. Thanks for the company thru the lonely periods my old friend.
I tried to repair the HDD, but Toshiba (the HD manufacturer for ipod) quoted me 780 for a new HDD. WTH....

Reservist for the past 2 weeks has been quite eventful, but my unit is classified, so I cannot say much about the details pertaining to training. But its outfield after outfield, IPPT and lectures and bunking in bed and snacking on the pinic table with my section mates.
The unit estab is quite high, section commander (usually a 3SG) is now a LTA. Men are specialists and CPLs.
The unit we attended training was at Jurong Camp 2, ITI. Serving the best chicken chop in the officer's mess and fish and chips in the WOSE mess :p Beer is dirt cheap too... $1.20 per can.
I love my unit!!!!
Sad news though, my buddy in the section maybe suffering from brain tumour, I will pray for him to be safe, and kind souls, please pray as well.

These days instead of playing Bemani games, I been concentrating on Halo3, C&C3 and blue dragon. Fun....
Halloween is coming soon, might be planning to go down somewhere dressed up. Probably go DDR in a zombie costume, THAT WILL BE SO COOL... (Idea idea, hint hint).

A down side to 2 weeks of rest? (reservist) is the pain of piles of paperwork awaiting me. Sigh.... No time to do much things.
Hope the SgBemani group can forgive me for being such an inactive member for so long lol... But lan lan I have to work and study, as well as organize stuff which some people likes to complain about (You guys know which farker from the tag :P).

Finally I will be washing my hands off nebo events and leadership position will be going to Steven and Ray. I will just be there like someone say "act cool" :)
giving advises when needed and just to join in the fun.

I will be going genting soon with a very special girl, hope that time comes soon. I need a getaway from work and the forest lol.

New purchase

Wheee! I was so darn happy yesterday (Dun tell you, keep you guessing).
But at the same time I was disappointed too.

I bought a TV tuner box, specifically for my HDTV JUST to play IIDX, but the lag is still the same, no improvements. Tonight I will be going to SeowChoon to buy the VGA box, maybe it will work. I gonna make big investment just to play IIDX. Darn it.

Oh well, other than that, I got a new wallet and a new 360 game, blue dragon. (its not new, its just new to me).
I like it, RPG as I liked and remembered. Its 3 disc long ^_^… too bad I will be having reservist next week.

Oh well, that’s all for now.

Boring Blog

I been setting my ipod on repeat and been hearing “The Smile of You” over and over again. It brings me back to memories of your smile, the first thing that stuck me as having feelings for you. It is so long ago and still my heart yearns for that smile.

These few days been fast pacing through lotsa of IIDX songs, but now with 3 objectives in mind.

1. To AA or AAA previously passed songs with A grade below
2. To practice left handed play
3. To pass harder songs and to hard clear old songs

For objective 1, I had AA or AAA quite some songs too many till I had forgotten what are those. But my DJP has not went up, only one or two points more per song played.

Objective 2 has been going well, I will need a memory card to record left hand play records. I have obtained level 1 to 4 pass with ease, but from level 5 onward, just say I will need a lot more practice.

Object 3: pass harder songs… uhmmmm I haven pass much, I believe its due to my controller being too stiff, but then again, my right hand is injured, accuracy is there, but pain is there as well. Wait till it recovers then pia ba…

I won’t brag about anything here, as my accomplishments are going to “TRY” contend with overseas players, in the local scene, only Shin and Aya has caught my attention as a worthy opponent (and yes, they can trash me), Kel… haven see him play… no comments. Haven really seen anyone that can match up with them, but hoping forward to find more hidden dragons lol…

I am going to create more videos of IIDX esp with left hand to improve on my techniques and notice my flaws. TONITE, I am gonna to spam songs till I FC or AAA till my hands hurts (which it is now), and I gonna change to LH play.

I will be consolidating the orders of 3 Platinum Edition dj-Dao controllers. The best of its kinds (other than the real edition which cost 1.6K  I might get it in the future) Payment will be made this Friday, and hopefully it will come within 6 weeks of ordering. Sanwa buttons are not in production as yet, hence the delay.

Life is just so sad without much purpose, for a meaningful life, one must have much money lol…
Anyway life is fragile, to treasure to love and to live it, sadness, disappointments all comes in as a package deal. Bo bian…

Pissed because my boss din give me the necessary information needed to settle a certian problem --> sad.
Pissed because some idiot thought they are so important and purposely gave me a hard time -_- --> Dulan
Disappointed because I know I am gonna fail my modules badly.
Stressed because of work, studies, exams, BGR, money, IIDX. blah....

Many times in life I just wish I can shrink myself to nano size and get eaten up by a ameoba. So tired of this existance of constantly worrying.
Stupid Bradford likes dissertation in their essay, FOR WHAT?? YOU FUCKING SHOW WHAT YOU READ BY IMPLICATING IT IN THE ESSAY AND NOT CITING DOWN THE FUCKING AUTHOR'S NAME. STUPID BRADFORD!!!!
I am so darn tired of this course... though its the final yr, its also a toughie...
Working now seems like going on day by day... nothing interesting ever crops up for me.

Sometimes I wish to totally give up on everything BAH BAH BAH.....

First off, I will like to say its been a freaking long time since I have updated my blog. Luckily I have no fans, if not my contract to the blog will be nulled and void.

I have managed to get my IIDX Gold rip working on my PC (Yeah Me!!!)
BUT... there is still the problem of the controller which is not working well.
(PS2 --> USB port problem) so lan lan no choice but to experiment with different models of adapters.
Might be looking @ getting another JP controller next month, but probably will delay to save up ba.

Though I have fun playing with IIDX, on MRT sit on floow and plug in head phones, people thinks I am siow... tapping my keyboard so hard lol.

I have just finished my oral presentation and it sucks... lol suttered a lot and forgotten to talk about a lot of things. I am so gonna fail.
Better buck up for my exams... I need a good pass of 80% for 1st class honours.

I miss gaming.... oh well... live with it.

1. P53 Lab report --> SHIT ! NOT DONE YET
2. Study for exams (PRONTO)

4. Raise issues regarding machine arrivals.

Haiz... will be darn busy lor.

Fantastic day...

Happy Birthday Singapore, and a fun night at my place for IIDX introduction session.
Members that attended, Bryant, Kenneth, Shin, Edeson, Ray, John, Jerry and of course me la... ^_^

Attempts to try IIDX leads to many hours of laughter, esp Bryant trying to Zuah vault of heaven lol. Finally in the morning, he managed to pass.
Behind the background of my mother playing mahjong, they still manage to have a good time gaming, drinking softdrinks and smoking lol.

I had a good sleep last nite... till 5pm on saturday morning where i went to buy loads of 4D... expensive sia... 60+ dollars -_-
Anyway, went off to Lot 1 to play some games, had dinner at sunshine place with the rest and back again to play somemore lol. Icycloud seems to be in a bad mood, probably its study stress, hope he's ok though... God bless his soul and let him be happy.

I tried battle mode, shiok ar... but first round kena trash... but the next 3 rounds, its the other way round.

Nothing is going on in my life except...

Its now 1245Hrs after lunch. I just had a cone of chunky monkey after a nice plate of indonesian fried rice.

I took 1/2 day yesterday to settle a personal affair, went to collect my credit card and purchase clothes for D&D today. Bought a pair of pants and shoes, i have a tie too (white) but I left it at home in a rush.
Suppose to help HR bring some stuffs there, guess I have to wear T-shirt then... I am already nicely dressed in my shirt and pants :(

Did some portion of MGBD last night, esp the first part on hormonal stuff. Understood the "basic" concept that hormones are chemical messengers that are excreted by the endocrine gland, and travels via the blood stream to target cells.
Target cells have special and specific receptors to these messengers, and once in contact, will regulate gene transcriptional function.

Long update

The week has been "eventful" in a sense that I have been pretty busy almost every second of my life, always finding things to do, always challenging my brains cells, if any left after smoking.

The busy lifestyle has excused myself to forget important people in my life. Namely God (not a person is it??), my family, and the gal that I love, though she may not know it.
Anyway, my family matters are complicated and devoid of love, not that we don't show love to each other, its that each individual leading separate lifes and no one is bothering too much about one another. I will like to bring my mom out for a dim sim buffer this weekend, hopefully she can make it.

About the NeBo club, I guess progress is slow on that front. Good news from Steven, DDR SN2 will be out around August - Sept. While Beatmania IIDX still have no news, rumours has it (started by me) it will be in Dec 07.
I have been off the Bemani scene for a while now. Lacking in practice in DDR, DMGF and IIDX, all my beloved games, replace by work and school.

School has been great though (yeah rite), no serious complains. We have fantastic lecturers, Dr Syn and Dr Singh. Teaching GECC (Cell communication) and MGDB which is genetics & biochemistry.

Have been talking to Hazel a lot these days on the use of make-up for male :p
Not really la, but have other things that we talk about. Mostly are rantings (by her) caused by her "project mates" for GCEE poster project. Though my team is not perfect, I am still glad I have them. Michelle is always depending and a wealth of information, Xiaoting is hardworking, Sharon... well I don't know her that well yet, but she gives a lot of useful advises and information. Nor... Miss Sepat... I do hope that you won't pull any more teeth...
As for me?? well, can say that I am the backseat slave driver in this operation, but I do contribute in some minor sense :P

We had lecture on pharmagenomics...
Basically its how to customise drugs based on overview of gene express and protein interactions.
By studying the genome as a whole, we will see a higher varibility in drug expression.
After that we we went through on our PKU (Phenylketonuria) group work the other day, though we did not get the highest, but we certianly get top few in the class.

Yesterday attended lessons, Ms Nor Sepat was not around again, this was how many lessons she missed and how many project discussion she was left out?
To be honest, I am pissed as well as worried for her, yeah though under her bushy locks and papaya size body lies an incredible cranial, but... not right la... come lessons, its good for ya.

Apparently my understanding in GECC is very very weak, I should need to work more on it soon. Revise now man... I did the first 2 chapters for GECC. Introduction and history lol...
I can't wait to get to more in depth stuff. ^_^

The past week has been dreadful, my boss was under intense pressure from above again I guess, and was moody this week. The outlook seems to improve though.
Yesterday saw DK, thought she having salsa class, but not too sure where she gone too though, not fate, don't push it. Predestined to end in the depths of the abyss. Dunno where she gone, but who am I to question or know?? Oh well... keep the thoughts within the lines of a blog and be done with it.

My friend from KL has brought over some softwares and midi cable to replace the old and spoilt one. I can finally work on my music again. Long live cakewalk sonar...
Bundled in his collection of software was macromedia II (I kop), adobe photo shop (I also kop), civilization IV (also also kop), and finally a cover showing a picture of an 8 YR OLD!!! (WTF??? of coz i din kop that, even if I wanted, my friend will not bear to part wif it. ) Anyway, gave him a wierd stare which was returned by a sheepish grin, guess he was feeling guilty as well. My thoughts, a woman only can be properly appreciated when she is ripe and ready, not a l'll nymph. Oh well, to each their own.

I have installed all the applications, games, and started up the keyboard and programmes. Needed to remix a lot of songs. But fate has it, one song I wanted to remake was already featured in DJ Taka's Album - Milestone, he calls it V-conclusion. I call it V - finish (get it?? vees' finished?) nevermind... -_-
The other song, Memories, also by DJ taka, has another remix... Dang... I wanted to do something nice, and guess I can, his current version stinks lol, for his standard.
Currently using my 11 yr old Korg Trinity, P4 1.6Gz PC, I still can cook up a mean storm, after setting everything up, my creative juices were sapped, so I went sleep wheet...

The officials from China will not be able to make it this weekend, luckily so... Its family day @ the zoo for me. Durian feast & go park walk walk... nice.

Trying to context feelings in term of a scientific term is difficult, even our most prominent scientists have no real idea what it is.
Coming back to this, made me think about Charmaine...

She is living in a “fairy tale” like world of love, and I am searching for the meaning as accurately as possible in a scientific concept. Coming down to this, if all ladies think this way… I’m hell gonna be alone for eternity lol.
What has gotten us together in the first place where our concept of something is entirely so different.

Friday 6th July is the press launch of the nEBo club thingy. I was not particularly interested in it now that I know I am too old to join lol. But I did bring some people down anyway. Saturday 7th July

Went down to the arcade, played some of each Bemani machines, DDR and DMGF. Got a few AAs in double expert DDR & DMGF and increase in some SP, like 2 – 5, but not much.
Gotta work on much higher level songs to push the points, and to play normal songs to gain better coordination.
For IIDX, pushed my DJP from 9k  9.6K. Covered over 90% of light 7, 70+% of hyper 7 and gonna to start on Another 7s.
Still can’t pass Mei (H7)… WTF???
Completed 3rd style IIDX hyper 7s, and moving on to 4th style. Am considering to play another 7 soon enough.

Sunday 8th July
Went for my morning exercise, and after a light breakfast of vegan food, went to the arcade. Met Kira, but din know who she was at first. After “looking at her” for spamming 2 credits… she replied she is not a spammer and actually helping her sis insert credits.
No worries Kira, was not looking at u because of that, but was seeing why that such a pretty angel was beside me lol…
Thanks for the complements in DDR though, wanna add some smart comments, but then again, thought twice on doing so. Oh yah, and thanks for tell me about black sheep, I have never thought of playing that songs, boosted 5 points like that.
Improve some what on DDR with some double AAs, DMGF improved overall too.

Hello boggers...

I am quite pleased with the blog I have set up, with LJ, I can never customize a lot of stuff. I will like to create a structure for my blog, something I can record the main aspect of my life.
eg: Work, personal, my thoughts, advices...
Currently lying down on the bed, watching a rerun of Dr. House, one of my favourite shows. CSI will be my primary favourite show. Of all 3 CSIs, I like CSI LV followed by Miami then Newyork. --> my personal perference, so don't flame me.

Rather stressed out these few days. With my studies, work, exercises, interpersonal relationship and much more.

Work: It was quite peaceful today, my boss praised me, I guess he felt bad about the incident few days back, I don't blame him at all, in his position, I believe he undergoes lotsa stress, and I guess I might be the same If I was in his position, but in his position, I will commit a lot of things differently, so I might have other forms of pressure.
Upcoming will have 2 attachment staff from Malaysia, 4 director guests from China.
Just had the curatorial meeting, went on fast, and I like it... My thoughts, so many things been piling up, people are just waiting for stuff to happen. Follow up, chase all the way, priortise the work. Oh well, some people can chase, but some may sit on their hands and will only follow up the last minutes. (NO ONE IN GENERAL just a comment).

Studies: Today in lessons, I slept 1/2 way because I was so tired, but somehow the words osmosise into my mind. ^_^
Lets see, we had dealt with the roles of hormones in cancer, esp. androgens (sex hormones) and how menopause (happens in guys too) cause the over expression of GnRH (gonand releasing hormones) to pituitary releases LH & FSH, this release will be over expressed causing a lot of complications like chronic heart disease, oestrophrosis and more... today we had a lot more of these types of things. On hand I can only recap on cancer matastasis and proliferation. Will need to revise a lot more. Oh yeah, breast and uterine cancer is due to oestrogen, one is over expression and one is under.. which is which, FORGOT :P

Personal: House was shot... OMG lol... i expected it. It was the 2nd season replay.
CSI this coming wednesday will be the last episode for the season. Can't wait for the next one. Someone asked about DK, a bit jealous in my heart, but I encouraged the guy to ask her out, but... thats the advice I must tell myself :P Shit...
Tomorrow, I will be going to Zone X nEbO press launch, Brian told me that they are interested to invite as advisory, think I might decline... too tiring. But see how.

3rd July, bad day for Chemmy

A lot of RAVINGs... dun ask.

3nd July was a shitty day for Chemmy, din know what went wrong, there is only one side of the bed, so I din get up on the wrong side.
I haven been stepping on anyone's toes, nor I haven prayed much.

Firstly started off in the morning, forgot to set my phone to the normal (LOUD) profile, the alarm went off and I din hear it till much much later. Saw the time was 8:15am, OMG... rushed out of the house, yes I brushed my teeth :P. No cab in sight and many people waiting for taxis too.
Booked one, and still made in on time.

At work, kena screwed twice in the day for nothing. Sometimes boss bad mood and pressure from above is ok. But dun vent it on ppl le. Whole office atomsphere all ruined. -_-

Currently I am busy with searching for IL-16 cell signalling function. BUT... NOTHING ON IT online... so pek chek Went home and played IIDX a bit, only 2 AAAs, how to catch up with opponents? Anyway, my main opponent haven update a whole lot more scores :p

Am planning for the DDR tourny too. Hopefully sponsored by Zone X :p
If not, I will have to seek sponsors. Need people's help to go find sponsors!!

DDR Tourny annoused & China Yunnan Guests

Early this morning, I went to the airport with Francis (my colleague) to pick up 3 guests from China Yunan.
Picked them and got on the cab to the zoo. I got on the cab with Mr. Xiao Lin, he is one of the senior staff working in the Bai Ma Shan Golden monkey conservation project. He is of Tibetian origin, and can speak cool Tibetianese (if that is what is called).
Left them in their quarters and went home...
I talked to Grettie again... curse my itchy backside -_-... NEVER TURN BACK AGAIN!!!!

Been having thoughts of DK on me mind recently... of course a small amt of time, still got sch work and such to consider. Hmmm I am assigned to research on macrophages and cytokines.
Have to submit all these to Sharon tomorrow evening, with yesterday's meeting minutes. (Oh yah, speaking of which, have to change the first minutes to confusious wing from charles wing).

My thoughts right now, very frightened of what can be in stored for me... oh well. Just have to mug each and everyday thru.

My update:

This morning I have started going work v.early and running in the zoo.
Went around the Australian outback, then to the children's world and back to the office. Think distance is around 1.6Km. (or less)
I cleared this distance in 15mins, with sometime taken for sightseeing and photo taking of zebras and saying hi to people. lol... (more pref. resting).
Will post the pic in later, forgotten to bring lap top charger, need the lappy for tonite's lecture.

I guess with this schedule in place. My official sleep time will push back an hour.

Healthy lifestyle goals:
Lose 20Kg (time frame - 1 yr)
Quit smoking (time frame - 1 yr)--> to ex liow la...
Quit softdrinks (easiest lol) --> dun waste money so sugar water lol.
Exercise least 3 times a week allocated one hour each session. (mild --> heavy intensity)
Bring BP much lower...

As posted in my IIDX blog - The proposal was written and sent, Brian Wong from Zone X has replied to me. The top management seems interested. I guess esp after I explained the differences between the old mixes and the features in the new ones. The only barrier now is the costing. Hopefully they can make it work.
Finally after few years of waiting. The light at the end of the tunnel is seen... Hope for a breakthrough into the daylight.

My life has been particularly boring.
Swarmed with lotsa stuff eg: Lectures, work, work out, gaming ^_^...
Hardly have much time for myself or others sometimes.

In my studies, a lot of materials have to be read. Just finished attending a workshop on GECC recently. Anne (our lecturer) covered a lot of signalling mechanism, particularly JAK and STATs.
4 Janus kinases (JAKs) and 7 Singal transducer and activator of transcription (STATs). Jak 1 - 3 and tyrosine kinase, and the different STATs all belong to a large family of extracellular ligands called cytokines. Basically they stimulate biological responses in virtually all cell types. From the references I have read, more specifically the hematopoietins. These are some of the introduction extracted from Jak-Stat signalling in human disease by Christian Schindler.

Fella Bloggers, It has been so long since I had last updated my journal. There is a lot of matters to address and comment.
Firstly, regarding the DDR machine credit spamming issue, I think there is a need to have a resolution to the problem. Simplest solution, advice your own friends not to do it and enforce it on yourself too. (yes… I AM A SPAMMER…. Bad Chem Bad Chem…), but I did it out of anger anyway lol.
Ray, Ede, Alvin all have their circle of friends, and if they advice this issue to them and explain properly why spamming is bad, hopefully they will understand and follow.
In desperate situation, write up a notice and paste on machine ba -_-
Spamming, no exceptions to whomever, think this will be fair for everyone.

Secondly, I have currently over 117 scores for IIDX, 339 and 174 , I have a good rival, so I am challenging him a lot now. I am not going to post them, but those interested can go here and have a look see look see.

Anyway yesterday has been a somewhat eventful day, I met someone called M.Y.
Nice cheerful l'll lady, can get along and can communicate.
I met her during my station outside the SATA bus where zoo staff undergoes TB check for Xray. My arm was jabbed with the motox (?) AB to check for AB AG reactions i think :P. Have to wait till friday to see the results.
After which I rushed down to Kathib camp to start my first RT training session, WTH, kena whack like toot.
Came back expecting to know someone better, but tt person not online lor -_-. whahaha. nevermind, not fated ba ^_^.

Today morning, both my arms (tricep area) went sore from the multiples pushup and pull up done the day before. Siao, kena whack so jialat. First time ever encountered this, or my physical fitness down the drain already.
Oh well, I vow to train hard, and win back my health, of coz, my ciggies have to go too. Someone dun like me smoke so .... :)

Lunch time, sat in office looking at the plans for the IIDX controller which I am about to build agian. The last time I used a turn table cannibalised from an offical controller. With the advise from a net friend, I am going to build a turn table circuit from scratch. After which I am gonna launch a FAQ for the community which needs it. Not too many guides around... Chem IIDX controller FAQ. With this, I will AA higher levels songs then using my current crappy controller. (But good enough to play for now).

My budget will cost around 500. 200 for the buttons (est.)
100 - 200 for the casing, paint assembly and another 100 for the TT circut.
This is a minimal estimate, would and can get lower.
I would also need to cannibalise my old PS2 controller x 2, and I would also wanna to buy 2 LDs for the turn table.

Went out with Bis, Anthony, Agnes, and the 2 china gentleman after work today. Took a cab to chomp pang and had a nice seafood dinner.
Met Mei Lin, one of our newer keepers, nice gal, never knew she had such love for small animals.

Finished dinner, went jalan jalan around Yishun and went back by cab. Sat down watched CSI after bath. Still dun see her yet... hmmmm....
Oh well....

Small update,

Yesterday was an eventful day of running around to different places in the zoo then around Singapore.
Had to prepare the rooms for our china visitors, buy stuffs after work, check quarters etc...
I met them at the airport yesterday at 2150Hrs, their flight was delayed and they came slightly late.
Bunch of nice chaps, Mr Ho and Mr Chiao, both from Beijing Zoo.

Beijing Zoo was formally known as Wan Shou Yuan (garden of 10 thousand animals), prior to its name change in the 1950s. It was used as an imperial zoo for the empress. Its located east of Beijing for those interested to visit, and entry costs 5 or 15yuan, can’t remember. Animal collections include…. PANDAs!!! But there are other animals like the proboscis monkeys etc etc…

Anyway, picked them from the airport to the staff quarters @ the zoo, make sure they are settled in and then I left back home… tired sia. After which played a bit of IIDX… and then… 6 more AAAs Hee!!!

Hmmm Its now after lunch time, I had done my audit and will carry on with the daily work flow...
eg: slack slack slack :P (Seriously, I will be doing TMS for Agnes (another colleague of mine).

The audit came back with a lot of problems, but I will looking to bring it up to my boss to clarify some issues, so that people dun get into trouble ba.

I will have a HPAI (highly pathogenic avian flu) meeting with some people later. Nor might know this person, Dr Yap from AVA, some of the curators and the HPAI key appointment holders.

Minor updates

To supplement previous slides, I would like to add a bit of gaming information.

For IIDX - I had started double for Happy Sky 12th Style. Been playing for about 3 days and achieved all pass for songs level 1 - 4.
I am working on level 5 songs with some passes, notably happy angel, augus dei and much more. Of course up till this level there will be some failures, due to the inefficiency of my left hand. (I am a single hand player in some songs). Level 6 songs like xypher, V and sayonara heaven, I have passed too.
Most songs are still at level C, one reason is my left hand, 2nd reason is due to the crappy IIDX controller I have.

In additional information, something to share...
*unicef, IS NOT SOMEONE THAT GOING TO JOIN UNICEF!!! It is actually an emoticon used on MSN, by which if people use that icon to chat, the microsoft foundation would donate somemoney to unicef la. Cheh, no wonder see so many people put it up.

Lol, my friend Jim - AKA Gim Teck (from LPS), has informed me that a PA to the top brass is a high paying job in large MNC. Should I continue on with this career?? lol..

Anyway, in my heart I am still pissed about the scarastic remark made by a certian maggot. Its in my heart to forgive, but the dark side wans me to use him as a bait in the gavial enrichment feeding. But.... I know that these type of immature behaviour is not a good thing. I can say the same for him, hey... he likes to "act" cool and think young, good for him, but thinking young and thinking immature is different.

For me, I still like games a lot, and play many different types of games, does it make me young or immature? I believe that your age is revealed by your actions and not by what you do. If a person is narrow in mind and heart, we can only forgive and pray for him. It doesn't do any good to argue with such people, waste of breath and life span with high blood pressure :)

My dear friends, in the time of need, we can only count on each other to back each other up. Why?? I have family, friends too, but somehow, they do not understand what are we going through. The stress of work and studying, and juggling our personal life. Mich (female one), you will always have support, just ask kay? (But how I go taichi is another issue :P)
I know in my class there are people who are not working, or working for an inconsistent amount of time a week. Hey, we're not dissing you here, but they are the group who by right should have better results lol...
But of course, its up to the individual to plan their time.

Its been a busy day with running around at the work place.

There was some problem brewing in the school, exams issue, late return of results, no class rooms for examinations for some students, yada yada...
There were some talks of complaints, to MOE, to press, heck... anyone that people can think of.

I suggested BBC, since I feel that the certification comes from UK. If locally investigate will only hit MDIS badly, but if use BBC pressure on the uni, it will have more leverage on them. Esp when wind blows to their quality committee, there will be hell. But anyway that will be used as a last resort.

Well, what I said I have my reasons, not like anyone without a mind would think my way. Why BBC? Might as well bring to United Nations rite?? -_-
To the scarastic person --> There are reasons beyond his narrow mind can comprehand. Anyway, many people would like to bring to the media, but once slam them with the reasons like uhmmm course closure etc... they would keep quiet already.

Complain maybe useless, so lets see, one who don't think that change comes easily, maybe for UOB it doesn't, but every little things people do does have an impact somehow or rather. As long as the thing is internal, the cert is still secure. As if I am not worried myself eh? I am in the same course.

Anyway, for some studying the course, working full 9-5 jobs, some are just pte tutors at home, some are just bummers. Each have different amount of time to study. Not easy for everyone to handle information the same and not everyone have the same time to study.

Anyway, the person will reap what he sows, after the course, its not how bloody high you can go to, b/c your cert still comes from MDIS, UOB. Think you can compete with high flyers from NUS and NTU? Direct PHD students my friend.

This thing will wrap up soon, it was decided to keep it internal anyway, so I hope all will read before having strange thoughts. I know the strength of language is bad, but if you don't learn to read, i can recommend www.freedictionary.com ^_^
We can talk and be friends, no one is bitching about you mate, as far as my group is concern. But hey, if you can't take my word for it, no harm to me.

Dear people,

This will probably be the last time you will see me as I will suffer for cardiac infarction by the time I finish with all the revisions, handling all the work and many more things.
My boss will be sending me the vetted curatorial minutes and I will consolidate all the report for exhibit updates when the curatorial gets back to me.
I guess I would have to bug the Head keepers for information :P

Anyway, the day has been too sucky, without walkie talkie, I dun have any ways to contact sections. Anyway distributed all the meal coupons too all the sections, BUT... left Sealions and gibbon isle, no rep is able to make it. I have to go in the rain to all the sections to distribute the stuff. But its good, I can talk to the keepers, and interact with the pretty ladies more. Wendy .... Droool~~~~~~ lol. She's pretty ^_^

She like cats, not dogs :P whahhaha... Big cat keeper, beauty, guts and a nice figure to match. Too bad I don't see her often, and good thing too, I will nose bleed till I am dry or drool till dehydrated.

Ok... arcade... increased my SP points by.. uhmm 30?? lol... my skills are only 200 + now, which is a bit shitty lor. People can go up to 1000 ++ Sp.
I am determined to train my DMGF to over 1000 SP. Which means I have to play a lot of extreme songs soon. Only 2/3 weeks. play once a week, progress slow.

Played DDR with JNJ, got a good break today, pass CHAOS on extra stage, and completed 50% of one more extra stage CHAOS. Well, I need to train harder, lose weight.
Plan to start AA training. BUT, after exams.

I dunno if I wanna go Australia with Barrie. Unsure of the cost, and don't wish to go back to a land which left my heart broken. Yes it still hurts, the scars left behind are healing, but it bleeds sometimes, all the way up to Singapore where sometimes facing the sea, can feel the wound.

Going to have my exams soon, too many things to study, too little time to study.
Oh how I wish I can control the fabric of time, to go back to the past to change or go through life again.

Studying for MGMB now, still haven finish book one, nor the rest of the subjects too.
Still have book II to carry on. Life sucks but it still has to be carried on.
What problems I might have, memory of facts, too detailed, can't remember.
Oh well...

I been thinking about her lately, how her smile and her gentleness warms my heart, how her rimmed glasses enhance her beautiful eyes, or how intelligent she is?
Hardly talk to her too, just a hi along the corridors or juz a helping hand sometimes.

Have to work on my studies and relax with some GFDM later...

Final week more to the exams, to de-stress, went to Lot 1 Zone - X today, played DMGF V3, BM and DDR... ^_^ Use the bonus points to change la, darn broke now.
Shouldn't have buy the charger, but its worth it I guess.

Guess who else is there?? Alvin, Mich, Furong, Edeson, Jon, uhmmm who else?? memory a bit blur now... oh ya, still got ms strawberry shortcake ^_^ lol.
DMGF side, got the usual players, think its Kang, Icycloud, Charlene, WEST-Side :P and uhmmmm few more which I dun know well.

Dear friends,

Sunday 23rd of April is Earth Day, its a time to reflect what have you been doing, as a citizen of not Singapore, but of great earth on what contributions you had done.
I was volunteered for a mission, to be in a group of 40 odd people to pick up rubbish along Mandai lake road surrounding the resevoir area.
Our team comprised of few handsome chaps and we went of a shopping spree of litter that was thrown there for dunno how many years. Total amount of rubbish collected was 1.4 tons, not a bad hull for 40 people.

Our day opened with the adoption ceremony for the upper seletar resevoir.
With the director of PUB coming to present us wif a token of appreciation.
After the rubbish picking, was treated to a KFC lunch.

Anyway, the day went eventfully, spammed a lot of credits on DM and DDR, which was good stress relief on the tension i have about the upcoming examinations.
Hopefully tomorrow I can go arcade, but I would like to study more though.
I went above 200 SP for DM, DDR no new records, turning from bad to worse, DM --> still hate the song Diamond, darn...
Now learning Red Bells advance :P
Jon is still starting to learn DM, poor thing, hurt his foot so cannot DDR much, Come on Jon, in grown toe nail can play still ya?
Do your best in the games, you got better co-ordination you can do it.

Its been a long and tiring day today...

Early in the moring went work and did some normal admin stuff la.
After which went to prepare for the conservation workshop. Sucks lor, squeeze 30 ppl in the boardroom. Don't have the logistics support for it. Luckily I have a very special lady to thank. THANK YOU DOREEN!!!! Yeap, she's the PA of the exec chairman. I guess she is a smart lady ba. :P She helped me get the chairs needed and other stuff. She's nice. I hope:P

In the afternoon, straight after the morning meeting, the curatorial meeting started. I was 1/2 dead liow lor. ok that went alrite i guess. But tomorrow got to minute 2 meetings. Die kok stand lol...

I feel sick all over, tired, and disappointed. sigh...

Went lot 1, played few games of DM, failed on stage one a level 19 song. I think i go hide my head in the toilet bowl ba :P Oh yah, JNJ was wif me...

Work was okay, spent a lot of time on the CITES documentation today. Prepared for tomorrow's meeting. Hope nothing goes wrong though. The workshop is going to be separated into 2 groups. I guess during their brain storming session, I will be shaking leg in the board room first hee. 28 people bombardment... wah kaoz...

Exams are getting nearer and nearer, my pressure will go higher and higher... lol.
Luckily I think I might have that cure... a special certain someone.

No mood for gaming, well probably GF/Dm still incite my interest somehow. Of course I will settle down my heart to study. Nor, Lala, I hope you 2 will do the same. I know that there are a lot of distractions in your life, be a dear and finish exams before you get distracted by other things ok?

I would like to wish all my classmates for the past 2 yrs, all the best in their upcoming exams too. Love is a confusing topic, and its not my strongest one too. Been in and out too many times, easily in love, but not easily maintained.
Love is a feeling derived from the brain, not the heart. My theory is that it serves similar to a positive feedback loop. Example childbirth where oxytocin is released to increase contraction of uterus. Love is also stimulating your brain to keep on going for someone you already have a positive feeling to. This vital piece of the brain is unknown, but its burned in all humans. Regardless of Osama or the little twit down the block, all of them have a form of positive feeling for someone, AND the feeling is further enhanced thru the positive feedback loop.

Today I will be talking about Angina.
Angina pectoris to be exact is the feeling of chest pains caused by the insufficient blood in the heart to function properly.
Angina is primarily caused by blockage in the main circulation, decreasing the blood flow to the heart and hence the coranary circulation (heart circulation).

Angina cannot be treated but can be addressed by the use of beta blockers or ca2+ blockers.
Don't trust me on this though, consult a doctor before consuming any medications.
I am not too sure if these 2 can relieve the symptoms lol.

Did the stupid test... so far all was well, but in one part the selection of certian colonies of cells chosen wrong. WTF?
My criteria of choice was 30 - 300 CFU, while in that, any amount of CFUs also can be used, i forgotten that total CFU undiluted under 300 can liow... sheez. Basics all fogotten.
Anyway, went to arcade after work for a bit.
Seen DM, GF, DDR... got players, feel sian to wait so decided to go home.

HPP, MGMB, CABL... all 3 killer subjects.

I guess I will have the highest confidence in CABL, being most interested in Biochem the most. Followed by a large distance, MGMB and then tightly follows HPP.
HPP is really a strange subject. We have to study the human physiological aspect, as well as pharmacology aspect. How much are we suppose to know, or how much do we need to write?
Well I guess this is suppose to be 2nd nature to uni students. Have to be mature to know as much as possible and to attempt the impossible.

Lets see... I covered DNA repair mechanisms today.
DNA damanged (Potentially at 260nm) because closer to frequency of UV light. Damaged DNA will form 2 type if dimers, one potentially lethal (cyclobutane dimer) and one is highly mutagenic (6-4 photoproduct).
Resolution of damaged DNA comes in 2 forms of mechanisms.
Light dependent and light independent mechanisms.

Light dependent (requires photo activation)requires an enzyme as photolyase, it binds to pyrimidine dimers and uses energy from visible light specturm (370nm) to split the dimers apart.

Light independent (3 types)
* Excision repair - removal of damaged DNA strand followed by synthesis
* Recombinational repair - uses the good 3' 5' stran for repair
* SOS error pronerepair - simply put, anyhow dump nucleotides to try salvage cell from death.

Excision repair - uvrA and B ID dimer damages, A then leaves and C binds to B and introduce nicks on either side of dimer (8 nucleotides on 5' and 4/5 on 3' side)
After which urvD removes damaged strand, and repaired by DNA polymerase I and DNA ligase.

Recom repair - RecA protein is important in this repair. Undamaged parental strand recombines into gap opposite dimer leaving gap on the other parental strand. Gap in the undamaged parental stand filled by the DNA pol I and ligase, thymine dimer can now be repaired by excision repair (refer to above).

Haven cover SIS error prone repairs... very tiring lol...

Yesterday was Vieve's birthday and she decided she wanted to celebrate it the zoo.
She came with a few of her friends total 5peeps. Hmmm probably working in a resturant allows her to snack from the kitchen -_-. Yes Vieve, u know what i mean.

GFDM training

I had started challenging myself with the GF DM in the bemani series.
So far my score still sucks big time lol... esp in GF, with the freaky WAWA and the darn buttons that dun seem to respond rite.
Thats my own problem though, i seen others play no problem though. lol...

Saw a female GFDM player that goes by the name of "sourplum". Quite good looking and very good in this game.
Some background obtained from her, currently 19, 2nd best GF player in Sg. saw her trash a level 70+ extreme song with little problems. Enough about her ... ... ... ;p Dun remember the song and dun ask me wad song too.

Finally achieved over 100+ for DM SP. My IIDX is way higher than it, but hey, no IIDX in Sg, so dun complain ba. DDR do not have SP skills too, which lead to an interesting conservation with the players today at mac. Smoking and chatting and eating and crapping... totally chilling. Just dun remember my studies at all.

Came back home, started to hit the books, molecular genetics and medicial biology, starting on cell adhesion. Better do more revisions than DM. Gonna fail = no good for me.
Sianz, wat i learn?? uhmmm cell adhesion molecules, why vit c is essential for skin formation etc... Vit C is a co factor that hydroxylation of proline in ER, that is impt for stability of collagen triple helix, non-hydrated degraded in cell than secreted as normal. And most regulated tissues/ cell affect first. Jialat, 2 pages of notes from 30 over slides.

I am not a cam whore and will never be, lol... So no shots of things today.
Oh ya, DM level 3... so wat?? My aim is to reach SP 1K, and I am stopping. So i would need to pump in a lot of dough for it -_-
Planning to get dip sticks tomorrow, plsy with the arcade ones had me develop blisters, though is small and I had worse in NS, still, dun like to have any part of my body injured lol. When injury, cell undergoes mitosis to replace it self, and this means DNA replication. As DNA replication, there is a small chance that it will get wrong, or mutated (i smoke too much) and hence may develop cancer. This is happening everyday in the body. Eg: when u eat, food friction occurs at the throat, and the endothelial cells needs to constantly repair themselves. Thats why you have vitamin C (see above lol...) If dun have, your teeth, skin etc.. will not look that good and sooner or later, fall of WAHHAAAAAAAA.

Finally... I got some time to update my LJ.
Been so long and so busy recently.

Ok, today workplace induction, got around to visit behind the scenes aspects of the zoo. Of course a lot of new people were there, met few nice gals... :P

I had a sucky day today at work...
Have a big rat behind me breathing down my neck, If that dicken tries anything funny, I will make sure he gets something back.

Ok... bought a new eAmuse card, start well with new scores, few AAs on the easy expert songs for single. None for double songs as I was playing with Jnj.
Beat challenge double mode supernova... Broke 1500 combo in the first run but only broke 1000 in the 2nd try. But still pass. 83.6%. A long way more to go, now is at most an A if converted to regular scores.

Sobz sobz... well to date, I only got 3 - 5 AAs on double and 2 AAs on single, so I don't think its much lost. But spend 6 bucks to get the card again.
And to play the painfully ouchie songs like Driving or Flow (challenge) on double.
Then my nice scores of 8000000 on drivin, and and my other nice scores with JNJ, under the sky exact same score.
Sobz... This is a touture.

Its a lousy day for me thats for sure...
Sigh, I dunno its waking up on the wrong side of bed or is it a one sided thing inside my brain.

Generally my day started of ok... went late for work though. Nothing wrong with that...
10am, called G and thought she got lessons, was wrong, she was enjoying herself at Sentosa.
HmmmmMmm... with a guy I might add.

why am I so hooked on this gal, mean... she's older than me, not that perfect in many aspects. When I prayed, I had a memory of her just floated up in my brain. The time where we were skating. I believe I was happy that time. Probably its to comfort me of something, or maybe a lesson to be learnt in the hidden meaning. WTH, no normal person will have visions, it is just my one thought, alone... single sided. Sigh...

Makes matter worse, work is not that perfect today, have to assign, attend and take minutes of 9 meetings total. 3 Conservation, 1 curatorial, and 5 exhibit meeting.

Nothing interesting happened today. The guy I told you about yesterday, tried to play dirty with me, made me wait for him while he went to the loo, but after which went lunch and made me waste 1/2 hr.

Fed up sia, after lunch called him for private discussion, he dun wan, in the end accepted my apology la, but what the hey, professional a little man, dun make me get dirty. Its so stupid sometimes -_-.

Anyway, my boss put me in charge of time line of projects, ok la. nothing interesting about that anyway, the zoology staff all went to asia pacific brewery for a good drink, i can't go as i have to go MGMB. shitty...

V came for the interview today, seen her... she gone fat. lol...
I am not worried about her physical features though, more worried is her nice habit of staying up late, drinking alcohol. Night life sydrome. Which will lead to hypertension, and would lead to cardiac infarction, luckily shes female. Still I worry about her, being taken advantage of etc... oh well, I am no one to her anyway...

Stupid lor, when talking to her last night she called me Sir like last time. This is anindication.

Nothing really interesting had happened today.

Skated to work, and i forgotten and left my skates there too.
After which during near lunch time felt a tremor around me, its like I was dizzy from hunger. But its actually that damn quake from Indonesia. 6.6 on the scale. Shit...
I messaged my friends from indonesia, but none replied me. Probably knocked the comms network out, but then again, they are in Jarkarta.

Anyway, I went class after which and i fell asleep during the 2nd chapter taught in the lecture. I woke up for the 3rd though.
Catch no balls for the first 2 chapters, about the Eukaryote gene regulation and chapter 2 is something like marker DNA/ Chemicals. 3rd chapter is on practical use of genetics which i found useful ^_^ and of course i woke up for that one.

This whole week will be on MGMB my friends. I am so tired of the lecturer, sometimes dunno what is she saying too, but i will try my best to comprehand. Shes a nice person.
Theres these 2 ladies in my class, wah kaoz, super kiasu, no words to describe them, every break and every after lecture, always go pester lecturer, and sometimes with stupid questions. Sigh, why can't some ppl learn themselves, its easier to comprehand then being spoon feed all the time ya know? They can score well, but then again, pity the lecturer :P

2 more months till i finish my 2nd yr, and one more yr to go. I wanna juz get on wif it and finish it. Too tired to work and study, really affecting me a lot. Like juz now I had to concentrate on MGMB questions. Luckily I got resources called internet. Even ask lecturer wun understand anyway lol...

My darling gal is going to interview for GR position at the zoo tomorrow, hope she gets in and we can spend more time together. :p
Then again, why would she wanna spend it wif me -_-.

Think I indirectly saboed a colleague today, or make it a week ago ba.
Handed in a quotation and a informal approval form for getting a IT software, but I handed in to the boss who I think queried the person. Indirectly getting him scolded.

Still, I sent him a email apologising and asking him to resend the quotations so I can submit the form. Hope he dun mind though -_-…

I called min-def today to book my RT. Wah lao, dun even have a slot for me to book and the lady also asked me why last min booking. Too bad lor, have to extend my window till after May then.

IIDX Revival

Sian aR!! My boss came back from his holiday in Perth. First thing, blew up at another colleague of mine. Sad case…
He tends to be forgetful and stressed out after a holiday. Not our fault wat… -_-

I completed all of the level 5 songs for IIDX Happy Sky yesterday. It is after 3 months of not playing IIDX too. Lol…
Somehow after not playing for some times, my hands ache fast and my speed is not as it was. Further more, my great + shining greats not too good as well. Need more practice.
Oh well, I can never pass the level 10 – 12 songs. Its hard. I use to be able to pass V after consistent practice on the same song over and over. Now I am trying this method with Xypher. Level 10 song on hyper mode.

My AAA counts for IIDX very sad, only 2 nia… lol.
I can only blame my controller, because its so crappy. The original console ones aren’t as good as arcades one.

Yeah, the results are out.

Its a simple experiment on electrophoresis using only 3 amino acids, G,A and L. Glycine, Alanine and Lysine. too bad the experiment samples was either overloaded or something wrong la... dunno... Frankly i felt it was not dried properly before loading, so to take not in next experiment.

I made my promise that I won't call/ sms/ msn her again, but she she decided to talk to me, tts different la. ^_^

Sigh I am so tired.

Had the Biochem test yesterday, I had forgotten a lot of things, hopefully all my qns can score me a pass though. Its disappointing that I did not study and just hope to pass.

Thanks to my darling sister and her friends over at my place for Mahjong last nite.
This morning woke up late, went to call for a cab, cannot get thru, so went to 7-11 and to my surprise, no one is buying TOTO, so I went and bought instead, good luck to me. I will personally buy a DDR machine (SN2?) and place at home if I strike jackpot lol… Of course to get that I would need a big house too. And net work my IIDX, DDR machines. Wat a dream… Invites all the chaps over and XMMs :P

Anyway, today my office ladies and I went for lunch, after which on the way back, stopped at the plants to catch worms lol. They are from the horticulture side, tts why.
We bought some traditional treats, like muah chee, dragon beard candy etc.
I bought 2 sticks of malt candy at $1, its because I need to twist it myself. Lol.
The gal selling it was not bad looking, maybe could ask her out too.

Anyway, no eye contact with this intern called Mui Mui, no conversation no nothing. I need to make my move fast man…
It sucks being lonely lol…
Tomorrow I might be going out with V, but… still waiting for her confirmation, sigh… Its sad where you made time for someone but in the end put aeroplane. If that happens I will be going Lot 1 whack DDR. Lol… If not I might go Serangoon Café Cartel to find her where she works. A bit pointless la, as she will be busy.

Going to go for store audit later. Hee… Rahim still owns me my Anlene recpeit.

After Lunch Update

Yeap, just finished lunch and sitting at my desk.
Lunc time was interesting, but i was not so bo liow to take photos la.

One of the interns at work had accidently dropped the ladle into the chille sauce. Hmmmm still dun wanna pick up? So being the nicey nice chap I am, I assisted her to take out and put a tissue around it to avoid staining other's hands.
My good deed for the day done. now to become the devil.

Tonite still got that freaking CABL test, sian lor. Chapter 1 - 5 with practical qns.
I wanna go dating, paktor... lol.

Oh yah, the intern name is mui mui, think she is around 19 this yr. Most probably attached. (Tim, dun think too much lol...)
She is quite ok la, dun know her character yet, thin slender type. I like...
But so far, I do not see any positive aspects in her character.
Nothing can beat my V. ^_^

Too bad she wun be here to see it. As this is a open journanl to my close friends and those that added me lol.

Just had a confirmation with Lala and Nor, will be meeting them 9am at National Lib JE.
Should be sufficient to cover all the topics and leave some time for R&R or dating lol.

Had a hard time convincing these 2 lazy bones to wake up for it, understandable its a Sunday and people would like to snuggle in bed. I would too, but I would like them to understand its a discipline thing to study, as in waking up early.

Expect some latecomers lol, my intention is to chop the place so that we have a nice conducive area to study.

Maybe after that can go DDR session whahhaha. JEC too bad dun have DDR SN, if not go wreck the thing.

Office got nothing new, now its nearing lunch time, hungry growls of the belly can be heard all around. Just had done some preliminary research on the opioid peptides, should be good enough for presentation. Planning to go ahead with the MGMB assignment in the afternoon.

Tomorrow I should be auditing the store for its contents, and that keeper better bring his Anlene Milk powder reciept. -_-
I hate to give him a lost of item form to fill up.

Friday should be a good day to watch a movie, maybe something like hannibal rising, that should be good. Ghost rider is another one that is a watcher. Wanna see V's decision on it before watching.

A good morning to ya all,

Just stepped in office with currently nothing much on hand (my boss is on leave) thought I decide to update my LJ a little.

Last night has been eventful, tried to study a bit on the analytical biochem test that is coming tomorrow, thinking of going pon for the MGMB lessons tonite.
A bit shag these few days, with all the assignments, tests and revision coming up, but I have to slap myself outta it and go all out to complete it.

Monday to Friday assumption of work from 830 – 1830
Monday – CAB lab
Tuesday – MGMB lectures
Wednesday – CAB test and lecture
Thurs – MGMB lectures
Friday – Date with someone lol…
Saturday – Free day
Sunday – Meeting with Nor and Lala for revision session.

I am planning the revision session. The objective is not a study session, as each of us study differently, but more of a Q&A session.
We will be going through 6 Topics, chap 1 & 2 from HPP, CAB and MGMB.
Through it, we will be asking questions, doing research, and of course we will agree with each other on what are the important things to note out.

The details on how we gonna conduct these, has not materialized. Frankly I am worried about doing it.

Next week, another busy weekday, meeting with Nor, XT, Michy Mich for HPP assignment. Have to remember to produce my research materials on the opioid peptide. My feelings on this subject, WTH choose so hard?!?!?!?! We can go on the easy options, but no…. we have to go the hard way. Alright la, challenging topics gives our brains more work and of course we will be highly productive for our tasks.

This morning while waiting for cab, had cursed and swear 20 times before a cab arrives with a dropping passenger. Lucky me ^_^.

My PS2 progress is not good, have so many games, but no interest in playing it. Had just started on DDR SN JP. Grand game with good songs, I had finished the first 3 stellar systems and is looking for time to complete the rest of the series, twin hearts, red dolphine etc… of coz ultimate aim is the pizza box bonus at the end by which we have to get all bonuses lol.

This Friday, I hope she can make it out with me… I do not have all the time in the world for ya, but I make some specially.
